Identify the tournament format
An MTT usually starts across multiple tables, which merge as players are eliminated. A Sit & Go commonly starts when the required number of players enters. Turbo and Hyper generally mean faster blind progression; check the exact structure.
NLHE means No-Limit Texas Hold’em. A legal action can commit your remaining stack, but a raise must still meet the applicable rules.
NLHE identifies the game and betting structure. Cash games and MTTs describe how play is organised. Both an MTT and a cash game can use NLHE. A Texas Hold’em label alone does not tell you the betting limit or format.
What to read before registering
An event page should state the game, start time and time zone, eligibility, entry fees, starting stack, level length and registration closing conditions.
Teaching example only, not an actual Royal Poker price: assume an MTT lists, in the same currency, USD 100 for the prize pool plus a separately listed USD 10 fee, with no other charges. This entry therefore costs USD 110 (100 + 10) in total. The starting 10,000 tournament chips are a separate counting unit, not USD 10,000.
If the event permits re-entry, further assume for this example that each re-entry costs the same total USD 110 and starts with the same 10,000 chips. The initial entry plus one re-entry therefore costs USD 220 in total. The new entry receives its own starting 10,000 chips; these are not added to the original stack. Whether re-entry is offered, the number of re-entries allowed and the deadline depend on that event’s details.
- Check whether late registration is allowed and the final level at which you can enter.
- Re-entry: usually means registering again after elimination during the permitted period and returning to the tournament with a new entry.
- Rebuy: when allowed, purchasing additional tournament chips during a specified period and subject to chip-stack conditions, usually while continuing the original entry.
- Add-on: an opportunity to obtain additional chips at a specified stage of a tournament; eligibility does not necessarily require prior elimination. Fees, limits on use, chip amounts and deadlines for all three options depend on the event announcement.
- Read the rules for cancellation, refunds, disconnections, pauses and rescheduling.
- Check prize distribution, simultaneous eliminations and the official dispute process.
Conduct during a tournament
Act in turn. Do not collude, play for someone else or borrow another person's account. Follow the event's official rules for final tables, hand-for-hand play, action clocks and breaks.
Live tournaments may refer to Poker TDA rules, but the organizer must state whether they apply, which version is used and how any online rules differ.

This website displays confirmed, published events only. Once registration opens, the event card links to the platform for account login and registration. Your entry is confirmed only by the platform's confirmation page or account record. Unannounced schedules are not shown as open events.
Five checks before entering an MTT
Check each tournament as a separate event. This checklist does not mean that any particular Royal Poker event offers these options. Ask official support to clarify missing details before entering.
- Check your local time: read the event date and stated time zone, then convert to your location. For example, 12:00 UTC is 20:00 at UTC+8 and 19:00 at UTC+7 on the same day. Website language does not determine your time zone.
- Check the total cost: distinguish the buy-in allocated to the prize pool, separately stated service fees and any other disclosed charges. The entry cost is not your starting chip stack, and permission to re-enter does not mean free re-entry.
- Check the entry window: confirm the start time, the time or level at which late registration closes, and whether re-entry is allowed. Check entry limits, the fee for each entry and the chips issued on re-entry.
- Check the pace: review starting chips, blinds and antes, level duration and breaks. A label such as Turbo cannot replace the event's structure sheet.
- Check entry confirmation: after registering, confirm your entry on the platform confirmation page or in your account's tournament record. Save the event ID and read cancellation, rescheduling, disconnection and refund rules.
Rules may vary between platforms, tables and events. This guide explains common rules; available games, eligibility and dispute procedures are determined by the platform's official announcements.
