What is an SNG?
SNG means Sit-and-Go: a tournament that typically starts when its required player entries are filled. Join registration, wait for the selected event to meet its starting conditions, then play with that field.
How does it differ from an MTT?
An SNG emphasizes starting when the entries are filled. An MTT is a multi-table tournament and usually has a schedule and start time. Do not transfer an MTT's late-registration, re-entry or reward rules to an SNG.
How to join
Choose an SNG and check its player requirement, buy-in and fees, blind structure and rewards before entering. Watch the registration status while waiting; once play starts, follow the table's action order.
Check the event rules for whether registration can be cancelled, how any fees are handled and whether re-entry is available.
Play and settlement
Blind changes, elimination and the end of the event follow the selected SNG's rules. After it ends, check your final standing and settlement. The name SNG alone does not specify a fixed player count or prize.
Rules may vary between platforms, tables and events. This guide explains common rules; available games, eligibility and dispute procedures are determined by the platform's official announcements.
