Jackpot is a common label used by different platforms for prize-pool promotions, not a universal poker rule. This guide explains how to read the terms. It does not announce a Royal Poker amount, qualifying hand, reward promise or claim procedure. Confirm the actual conditions on the platform's official promotion page.
Check the scope first
Check whether the promotion is limited to particular variants, table types, blind levels, regions, dates or eligible accounts. Some conditions must be met before a hand starts; the final cards alone may not be enough.
The terms should also explain eligible player counts, minimum pot requirements, the required number of hole cards and whether a showdown or full hole-card reveal is necessary. There is no single answer for these conditions: read the actual promotion terms individually.
Separate the trigger, verification and allocation
A particular hand appearing and that hand being confirmed as eligible are separate stages. Complete terms should explain triggering conditions, irregular hands and result verification.
The total prize pool is not necessarily the amount one player can receive. Check allocation percentages, any caps, other fees, and the currency and units of the published amount.
Check update times and settlement records
Prize-pool amounts can change. Check the update time alongside the amount, then use the platform's actual promotion terms and final settlement confirmation to verify the result.
For a dispute, retain the relevant hand ID, time and version of the promotion terms, and contact official platform support. The website should display live amounts only after obtaining and verifying the official data.
